FIRTH OF FIFTH - Genesis (Chris Lawley cover)

Back

Here I am playing Genesis' song Firth of Fifth from their album Selling England By The Pound. The first part of the video, following the piano introduction, is an acoustic rendition, based on the version by Troubleclef (which can be found on Youtube. It's well worth checking out!!!!). Then I go into the classical guitar solo from Steve Hackett's version on his album 'Genesis Revisited' (in place of the flute solo that is on the original version). Following this I build up to the original version, complete with 'virtual drums'. Unfortunately I live in an apartment, so I can't set up my drum set. This is the best I can do under the circumstances, drumming on my synthesizer with my fingers. I had to cut out a small portion of the last section of the song/video in order for it to be under the 10 minute maximum that Youtube allows.
