Interesting Effect (Possible OverUnity?)

Using 2 9V batteries, a timer circuit, a transformer, some capacitors and a bridge rectifier I'm getting 500-900 Volts DC and .3-.5 Amps. While browsing http://www.overunity.com I came across a post about someone connecting a transformer to a 12V battery and tapping the negative wire on battery terminal and getting the "kick" (surge in voltage) that Tesla talked about. I tried it, it worked :-)
