Recession fears amid economic turmoil - 15 Sep 08

There hasn't been a day like it in decades. The value of investments across the world are shrivelling, billions of dollars disappearing from markets. The world's financial controllers, the European Central Bank for example, and even the US president are trying to stop the "economic avalanche". The big question now - are all the analysts, investors and governments ready to say the word that they've until now considered taboo: RECESSION.
