.`\ UBUNTU /`. Compiz Test on Made4Vista Toshiba Laptop
BackCompiz works on this laptop finally.. Wobly windows and such, haven't checked to see if the compiz cube works.. But looks pretty nifty so far.. BTW, Flash 10 Beta is installed and working well.. And that is Firefox 3.0!!! Also have Apache2, Mysql 5 and PHP5 running on it too.. I thought I was having troubles getting it installed when I realized that I had to set my umask to write my files out with 766 permissions in the web directory in /var/www , and php and everything worked fine.. I'm looking forward to working on chann3lz my website with this laptop, instead of using my old Thinkpad 600x.. I tried Xubuntu 8.04 on the Thinkpad and it ran really well.
